Hell To Pay

It only took seconds for the world to change and the added explosions to throw Guy further back as he held Tenten tighter. This wasn't the first surprise attack they'd had where their land's own name was used against them, but it would be the last. The burns and blood on his student's body had made things even more personal than they already were.

"Se...sen..." her voice was broken by agony and confusion.

"Shhh. It's alright, Tenten. It's alright now, I've got you." his voice was calmer than he thought possible at the moment, and his eyes narrowed to slits as he looked over the eruption of flames. He was done playing games. He was done letting these enemies have the upper hand. Now they would see why he had the nickname 'Konoha's Green Beast'. Because as soon as he found them, this form of hell would look like paradise compared to what he'd do to them.

Not much to say except I am so happy with how this turned out! This is actually another picture redone and another one where I feel like I can look back and see that I actually know what I'm doing now more than what I did before. I know I still have a long ways to go in terms of getting better and there are things that could be better, but overall I just feel really accomplished if that makes sense. I plan on redoing a few more pictures, not a whole lot but a few more so if there's one in particular you guys really want to see redone just let me know and I'll see if I can do it. ^_^
